Open on XPower Drill Massacre now has co-op and VR. "Power Drill Massacre CO-OP mod is OUT!" developer Puppet Combo posted on October 29, crediting modder loop (@loo0op). The mod is a free 1.4 MB download on the game's itch.io page.
I haven't played it. This is based on Puppet Combo's post and trailer, the itch.io devlog and the game page.
What the mod adds
Puppet Combo's devlog opens with a Halloween hook: "Just in time for Halloween a new Co-op and VR mod is dropping!"
The original game is a flat-screen, keyboard-and-mouse slasher, which its page calls "a VHS era, low poly slasher (ps1 style survival horror)" on itch.io.
The VR half promises "first person 6DOF VR" play. Per the devlog, "Megan's hands follow your controllers" in VR. The flashlight sits in your hand, and the devlog says it "shines where you point" too. Cutscenes "play on a big theater screen in front of you," and menus are point-and-click with your hands.
The co-op half supports up to three players, with "VR and flat screen together" in one lobby. Lobbies run through Steam, and you don't need to be Steam friends to join. The list also includes "Full Proximity chat with echo reverb and muffling through walls" for voice. Doors, items and keys are shared, and "One killer hunts everyone" in the group. Downed players get a bleed-out timer, friends can revive you, and the host picks 3 to 10 keys.

Who made it
loop's recent posts point to a Black Ops 3 Zombies map that remakes the original Silent Hill. "This video is great thanks for showcasing my map!" loop replied to YouTuber Satchino on October 28.
What players are saying
The replies under Puppet Combo's post are mostly delight. "Adding more keys is the scariest feature on this list," wrote @omgitsderek. One VR player asked for an off switch: "please tell me the snap turning can be turned off." Neither the post nor the devlog answers that.
