Open on XRedditor Ende18 posted an early look at a native Windows port of LittleBigPlanet (PS3, 2008) on Oct 18, 2026. Not RPCS3: in the post body (mirrored on arctic-shift), Ende18 says the PS3 binaries were statically recompiled to x86-64 with a Vulkan renderer and native physics, cloth, skinning and audio. By Oct 20, chasm's post had passed 500,000 views.
I haven't played it. Reddit quotes below match Ende18's text on the arctic-shift mirror; chasm's clip and X posts fill in the rest.
"I've been working with my good pal Opus 5.5 (yep, sorry, there's AI in this project) on a PC port of LittleBigPlanet, and I wanted to share an early look of the current progress:"

What the build claims today
On the arctic-shift copy, Ende18 describes static recompilation rather than emulation, PS3 system libraries reimplemented for Windows, and SPU work such as physics moved to native C. Rendering uses Vulkan with the game's scene data. Higher-FPS work is in progress, with render-side interpolation called out in the post.

On X, @chasmmmmmmmmmmm (chasm) posted the clip at 10:46 PM ET on Oct 18. They argued LittleBigPlanet is a hard RPCS3 target because it leans on the Cell, while this effort recompiles PS3 code into native PC binaries.
On Oct 19, 2026, @Pirat_Nation summarized the same early build on X. Their list covers native x86-64 and Vulkan, higher resolutions, higher FPS support in development, smoother rendering through frame interpolation, and physics/cloth/skinning/audio rebuilt for PC. They also note DLC support planned, visual bugs still being fixed, and a planned GitHub release for owners who supply their own game files.
Where it sits in the port wave
The same beat shows up in Halo 64 and Black & White VR: console binaries turned into PC builds, often with an AI coding partner. The ps3recomp README separately credits @sagemono for LittleBigPlanet work; whether that ties to Ende18's build is not confirmed.
LittleBigPlanet is Sony IP. Ende18's port is a fan project and is not affiliated with Sony.
Reaction on X split quickly. @whyamiusing asked whether the port was AI-made and warned that an AI-driven "decomp" would produce bad code, then quoted Ende18's Opus line back at chasm.
