Open on XModder Michael Clark (michaeljclarkk) has released ACUnityFirstPerson, a free mod that plays Assassin's Creed Unity through Arno's eyes. The camera rides his animated head, so vaults, swings and the Leap of Faith dive move the view with him. Nexus pitches it for walking, parkour, combat and exploration.
I haven't played it. This is based on the Nexus page, the creator's GitHub repo and videos, and the clip above.
What the camera does
Clark put version 0.8.4 on GitHub and Nexus on Oct 14. The Hidden One posted the clip above on Oct 20, and GamingBible covered the mod today. From the repo README:
- Toggle first person with the period key; settings live in the ACUFixes menu (
Insert) - Head and hood hidden in the main view, with Arno's cast shadow kept
- Collision guard pulls the camera back near walls instead of clipping
- Camera follows 493 catalogued parkour turns, rolls, swings and descents
- Combat framing drops lower and tighter, with an 80-degree minimum vertical FOV
- Tunable eye height, forward offset, FOV (40 to 100) and smoothing, applied live
Version 0.8.8 landed Oct 19 with an optional "Camera Gait" head bob, shown in Clark's 12-minute update video. His commit calls it "a dying light inspired head bob for climbing / parkour." The same commit admits "combat still needs all its animations mapped."

Why this one shipped
First-person Unity footage isn't new. In August 2023, Halzoid 98 posted a first-person run and said in the description:
"Unfortunately the mod won't become publicly available due to using someone else's work to bypass the game's integrity checks and the fact it requires me to find the correct values to attach to every time that I launch the game."
Clark builds on NameTaken3125's ACUFixes Plugin Loader. Its README says the loader "will disable the Main Integrity Check for you" and injects plugins automatically when the game window opens. Clark also credits itsloopyo's Unity head-tracking work.
